The price of a groom depends mainly on the size of the dog. However, other contributing factors such as if the dog is matted, severely compacted or has behavioural issues will be reflected in the pricing.

Behavioural issues include things like biting or dogs that are overly anxious. Extra time is taken to make it as stress-free as possible, but please note if I feel the dog is too stressed for me to continue, or the situation becomes unsafe, that the owner will be contacted to pick the dog up immediately, and will be referred to either a behavioural specialist or a vet for future grooms.

I am available to clip horses for the winter months. I am confident offering full clips and am improving on hunter clips. I travel within 1.5 hr of Oakford, with travel fees depending on locations.

We currently don’t offer mobile grooming, but am working towards offering it in the future.

We only shave double-coated dogs under vet recommendation, as shaving these breeds can be detrimental to the dog’s health.

Nail trimming is included in each service, and I also offer nail trimming on its own for just $10.

We broke the initial groom into multiple sessions to get Volk’s coat and now he looks and feels fantastic, and has somewhere he can go to for regular grooming.
